Maryland Federation of Art
Maryland Federation of Art (MFA) invites artists to submit original 2D or 3D work for 'In the City 2026'. The exhibition focuses on urban experiences, from skylines and alleyways to festivals and street life. Juried by Michael Dowley, a professor at Georgetown University, selected works will be displayed in MFA's Virtual Gallery. The call is open to all artists internationally, with a focus on residents of the US, Canada, and Mexico. Video submissions are accepted. The exhibition runs from February 16 to April 14, 2026.
The opportunity includes inclusion in a virtual exhibition, eligibility for awards, and the chance to sell work with an 80-85% commission rate for the artist.
All work must be original and completed solely by the artist within the past 3 years. A maximum of 6 entries is allowed. Work previously exhibited at MFA in the Virtual Gallery within the last three years is ineligible. Artists must pay the entry fee of $30 for the first two entries and $4.50 for each additional entry.
Artists must register and submit their work through the artcall.org platform. A maximum of 6 original works created within the past 3 years may be entered. Video submissions require a link in the 'Linked Web Resource' field and an uploaded still frame.
