About the Open Call

Impermanent Gallery, a contemporary dance company directed by Jules Rizzo, is entering its second season (August 2026 - June 2027) based in Summerville, SC. The company works with a group of 12-15 dancers to create new work, focusing on propelling the next generation of dancers and choreographers into the professional realm through classes three days per week and dedicated choreography labs.

What is Offered

Part-time classes (3 days per week), choreography labs, performance opportunities, and financial compensation for commissioned choreographers.

Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older. Required materials include a brief bio of dance/choreographic background and a headshot/dance photos. Virtual applicants must also provide a dance reel.

How to Apply

For in-person auditions in Columbus, OH (April 11) or Charleston, SC (April 25), complete the online registration form. For virtual consideration, email a headshot/dance photo and a dance reel (maximum 10 minutes) to contact@impermanentgallery.com by April 3rd, 2026.
