About the Open Call

All artists 18 and older are encouraged to submit their work in any medium, style, and genre. Acceptable mediums include all traditional art media (oil, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, graphite, etc.), digital painting, and arts and crafts (beadwork, pottery, embroidery, stained glass, etc.). No profanity or political artwork is permitted. Participants receive a personal page on the UPWARD gallery website displaying their works, biography, and artist statement.

What is Offered

Personal gallery page, interview for winners in UPWARD’s Quarterly printed edition and on the website, digital certificates for all entrants, and social media promotion for top selected works.

Requirements

Artists must be 18 years or older. All traditional and digital media as well as crafts are accepted. No profanity or political artwork.
