Creativi Insoddisfatti
PhygitArt combines exhibitions, performances, digital installations, sound, and participatory experiences within a hybrid (“phygital”) environment where audiences engage with both physical artworks and virtual or augmented content. The initiative is known for transforming cultural spaces into immersive creative environments that encourage interaction, inclusion, and experimentation. Previous editions featured QR-based digital extensions, multimedia installations, live performances, and interdisciplinary collaborations connecting visual arts, music, and technology. The 2026 “Hyperreality” theme draws on ideas surrounding simulated realities, digital identities, immersive media, XR technologies, and the increasing overlap between physical and virtual existence.
Showcase opportunity
The open call is aimed at contemporary artists, collectives, performers, and creatives working across interdisciplinary and experimental media. Applicants are expected to propose projects that engage with the event’s phygital and hyperreality themes through interactive, immersive, or digitally integrated approaches. Works may include installations, projections, performances, audiovisual experiences, virtual or augmented reality components, and participatory practices. Selected artists are typically invited to exhibit or perform within the festival programme and collaborate within a shared hybrid exhibition environment.
