About the Open Call

The Hoyt Regional Juried Exhibition is open to all artists within 250 miles of New Castle, PA. The call accepts most media, excluding video and installation, for works completed within the last three years. The exhibition will be juried by Buffalo-based artist and organizer Nando Alvarez-Perez. Selected works will be displayed at the Hoyt Art Center from May 28 to July 23, 2026.

What is Offered

1st place: $600, 2nd place: $400, 3rd place: $200. Exhibition opportunity and 70% commission on sales.

Requirements

Artists must be 18+ and live within 250 miles of New Castle, PA. Work must be original, created in the last 3 years, and not previously exhibited at the Hoyt. Maximum size is 48 inches in any direction and weight limit is 150 lbs. 2D works must be wired and framed.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted online only. Each entry requires one photo (max 1MB) with the filename matching the title of the work.
