About the Open Call

Blue Koi Gallery proudly invites women artists from around the world to submit their most powerful and expressive works for Her Canvas. This special exhibition is dedicated to amplifying women’s voices in the art world, celebrating their stories, visions, and creativity across all styles and mediums. For this exhibition, there is no specified theme, allowing artists the freedom to explore any subject matter and express their creativity through various mediums. We welcome your finest work for our online group exhibition. This competition is open to artists worldwide who are 18 or older. All backgrounds, skill levels, and styles are welcome. We accept all visual media, including painting, mixed media, photography, digital art, and sculpture. All submissions must be original works created by the artist entering the competition. Image Requirements: File Size: Max 2 MB, Format: jpg, jpeg, png. Ensure professional presentation: including proper cropping, no mockups, frames or watermarks. File Name Format: Artist Name – Title of Art.jpg. High-resolution images (Maximum 2000px on the longest side), JPEG or PNG format only, No watermarks or signatures, Professional lighting and neutral background preferred. Label file names clearly (Artist name – Artwork Title.jpg).

What is Offered

Prizes worth $500, cash awards including $200 (First Prize), $75 (Second Prize), and $50 (Third Prize). Winners receive exhibition feature, social media promotion, newsletter features to collectors, galleries & art lovers, a Certificate of Achievement, and a permanent display on the Blue Koi platform. Honorable Mentions & Finalists receive social media promotion, exhibition, and a certificate.

Requirements

Applications require adherence to specific image requirements regarding file size, format (jpg, jpeg, png), resolution (Max 2000px on longest side), and file naming convention (Artist Name – Title of Art.jpg). Submissions should be professionally presented without mockups, frames, watermarks, and with professional lighting and a neutral background.
