About the Open Call

The exhibition brings into focus various environments that constitute a home for plants, animals, humans, and other organisms. It addresses symbiotic and intraspecific relationships across scales from microscopic to large, encompassing Earth and beyond. The call is open to all artists and specifically seeks work that reaches from abstraction to abstracted representation. Excluded mediums: Photorealism, Documentary Photography and Film, Academic Realism and Representation in Painting, Drawing and Sculpture.

What is Offered

Selected works will be exhibited at Lichtundfire gallery from May 2 to May 22, 2026. Promotion includes press release, video walk-through, email announcements, and social media coverage. Artists receive 50% of net sales for works sold.

Requirements

Artist CV, Artist Statement, Website, Instagram, and up to 6 artworks. Works larger than 72 x 60 inches will not be accepted. All works on paper must be framed. International applicants must contact the gallery for alternative fee instructions.

How to Apply

Submit via the official Google Form provided at the source URL. A non-refundable application fee is required via PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, or in-person at the gallery.
