About the Open Call

The Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE) is offering a student membership of two years plus £1000 from the Gwen May Trust to two recent printmaking graduates. Membership to the society includes the opportunity to participate in RE exhibitions for two years both nationally and internationally. The award is open to anyone who has studied printmaking on an undergraduate or postgraduate course (textile submissions are not eligible). A panel of RE member artists will vote on eligible submissions based on creativity, technical excellence, attention to detail, and originality of theme.

What is Offered

£1000 award for two winners, plus a two-year student membership in the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers which includes national and international exhibition opportunities.

Requirements

Must have graduated from an undergraduate or postgraduate printmaking course in 2025. Textile submissions are not eligible. Application requires 6 images and a CV.

How to Apply

Applicants must register and submit through CuratorSpace. Submissions must include six high-quality JPEGs of printmaking work (with full image details) and a brief CV.
