About the Open Call

The Serlachius Residency is open to visual artists, art historians, researchers, journalists, or curators. Residency periods last between 1 and 4 months. While no rent is charged, residents must provide a written report and are responsible for their own travel, work, and living expenses. Artists have the option to organize exhibitions or events in the residency's gallery space. Monthly 'Friday coffee' sessions are organized for interaction with the local community.

What is Offered

Rent-free residency for 1–4 months and the opportunity to use the residency's gallery space for exhibitions or events.

Requirements

Applicants must be visual artists, art historians, researchers, journalists, or curators. Successful applicants are required to submit a written report of their stay and cover their own travel and living costs.
