About the Open Call

The Red Rock Pastel Society of Nevada (RRPSNV) presents its 2026 International Online Exhibition themed 'Green.' The exhibition seeks artistic interpretations of green through color, emotion, or environment. This is a themed show restricted to dry pastel works. Accepted artists will have their work featured on the RRPSNV website and social media platforms. There is an option for dual entry with an in-person exhibition for artists with for-sale works available for shipping.

What is Offered

Prizes include Best in Show ($500), First Place ($300), Second Place ($250), Third Place ($200), and Honorable Mentions. All accepted works will be displayed on the RRPSNV website and social media.

Requirements

Open to artists worldwide regardless of membership. Works must be at least 80% dry pastel on the surface. No oil pastel on the top layer, no mixed-media collage, sculpture, or digital pastel. Work must be original, created within the last five years, and not have received major awards in prior exhibitions. Maximum of 5 artworks per artist.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted online via ShowSubmit. Artists need to create an account, upload high-quality JPEG images of their work (at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge), and pay the entry fee using a credit or debit card.
