About the Open Call

The Red Rock Pastel Society of Nevada proudly presents 'Green,' our 2026 International In-Person Exhibition at King Family Public Library, Sevierville, Tennessee. This themed show explores 'Green' through color, emotion, or environment. Work must be executed in dry pastel, with at least 80% of the surface consisting of dry pastel. Entries must be original, created within the last five years, and for sale. Accepted works will be featured in the exhibition and published in a printed catalog. Sales will be managed by Alpha Voyage Gallery with a 70% commission to the artist.

What is Offered

Awards include Best in Show ($1,500), First Place ($500), Second Place ($300), Third Place ($250), and Honorable Mentions. Opportunities include physical exhibition, printed catalog inclusion, and art sales (70% commission to the artist).

Requirements

Work must be at least 80% dry pastel on the surface (no oil pastel on top layer). Themes must interpret 'Green'. Only two-dimensional works are accepted. Work must be original, not created in a workshop/class, and created within the last five years. All in-person works must be for sale and available to ship to Sevierville, TN by February 15, 2026.
