Gorilla Circus Residencies

About the Open Call

Gorilla Circus is offering its rehearsal area in Gorefield, Fenland for two residencies in July, September, and October. The site is a remote outdoor farmland area equipped with a 20x20m rehearsal space, metal and woodworking workshops, and basic welfare facilities. Artists receive support from the Gorilla Circus team, including Producer/Director consultations and a day of videography to promote their work. The residency encourages community engagement with local rural groups.

What is Offered

Local accommodation for up to 7 nights, reasonable travel expenses, per diems for up to 7 days, workshop access, 1 day of videographer services, and Producer/Director consultation. (Artist fees are not covered).

Requirements

Open to circus makers, performers, dance companies, and outdoor artists. Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors in a remote rural setting with no public transport; at least one member of the team should ideally be able to drive.
