About the Open Call

Global Connection: Exploring visual stories of human ties across cultures, communities and the natural world. In a world marked by differences and complexity, we invite photographers to explore what connects us across borders, cultures, and experiences. Global Connection calls for visual stories that reveal the threads of humanity that transcend boundaries — in gestures of care, resilience, belonging, identity, and shared presence. How do we express connection across distances? Where do we find unity in today’s multifaceted world? We seek photographs that reflect human ties: between people, between cultures, and between ourselves and the natural world. We welcome submissions that range from documentary to conceptual, from poetic to political. Portraits, moments of daily life, visual metaphors of connection, or scenes of cultural exchange — all are invited, as long as they contribute to a broader reflection on the meaning and experience of global connection today. By submitting your work, you gain the opportunity to be featured in our curated online exhibitions or showcased on our exclusive Featured Submissions page. Additionally, selected submissions may be highlighted in upcoming issues of our online digital magazine, with the chance to be invited for an interview to share your creative journey. What is Offered

Selected works will be featured in Artdoc Photography Magazine and online exhibitions. There is also an exclusive interview opportunity.

Requirements

Submissions should be visual stories that reflect human ties: between people, between cultures, and between ourselves and the natural world. Works can range from documentary to conceptual, poetic to political, including portraits, daily life moments, visual metaphors, or cultural exchange scenes. Submitting artists must be members of Artdoc Photography Magazine.

How to Apply

Submissions are free of charge for members. To submit your work, we kindly invite you to become a member of Artdoc Photography Magazine. Once registered, the submission form will become accessible on this page.
