About the Open Call

Glass Immersed is a dual installation featuring a Juried Glass Art Exhibit and an Artisan Glass Sale. The juried component seeks diverse contemporary glass artworks produced within the last 8 years to pay homage to the glass medium and Norfolk's vibrant glass scene. The exhibition is timed to align with the Norfolk Glass Circuit Event and the Chrysler Museum’s Perry Glass Studio reopening activities.

What is Offered

Cash awards: 1st Place ($500), 2nd Place ($300), and 3rd Place ($150). Inclusion in a national exhibition and an invitation-only reception.

Requirements

Open to national artists aged 18+. Artworks must be at least 80% glass, created within the last 8 years, weigh 50 lbs or less, and be no larger than 60 inches. All work must be presentation-ready. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and must provide pre-paid return labels.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted through the Call for Entry (CaFÉ) platform. The $35 entry fee covers up to 5 submissions, with a maximum of 10 submissions allowed for additional fees.
