About the Open Call

In June 2026, the Getxophoto International Image Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary with the theme 'RESET'. The call seeks visual proposals including photography, installation, video, actions, and digital art that address system reboots, change, and reinvention. The festival is known for its use of public space and its digital program, fostering a horizontal relationship between art and the public.

What is Offered

Winning artists receive an exhibition at the festival with expenses covered, an artistic fee of €500, two nights of accommodation, travel support up to €150, and national and international press exposure.

Open to visual artists and photographers from all over the world. Proposals must address the theme 'RESET' and can utilize photography, installation, video, actions, or digital art.

How to Apply

Submissions are handled through the Picter platform. Projects may be submitted in both English and Spanish.
