About the Open Call

GALEX is a long-standing national competition and exhibition celebrating its 59th year. Juried by Ruth Lantz, MFA, the exhibition is open to all mediums. The juror will select over 70 works for the show. The center provides insurance for accepted works up to $1,000. This year's juror curates through the lens of a contemporary female artist, viewing the exhibition as a dialogue between ways of seeing and making.
