Fundaziun Nairs
Fundaziun Nairs offers a 2- to 10-month residency program for cultural practitioners across disciplines including visual arts, performance, music, and experimental writing. The residency is housed in a former bathhouse in the Lower Engadine valley and fosters interdisciplinary exchange, contemplation, and research-based practice. The program supports 30 to 40 practitioners annually from February to November. The application for the 2027 cycle is open from March 1st to April 30th, 2026.
Residents receive studio space, accommodation, food provisions, and access to the library, technical equipment, and a professional network. Monthly contribution is 950 CHF.
Applicants must be cultural practitioners (emerging or established). Applications are evaluated by a jury based on artistic merit and fit for the interdisciplinary program.
Applications must be submitted through the official website during the open window of March 1st to April 30th, 2026. Detailed submission instructions are available on the Fundaziun Nairs residency portal.
