The Fulcrum Fund 2026 offers grants from $2,000 to $10,000, totaling $60,000, to New Mexico-based visual artists and collectives. The fund encourages experimental and forward-thinking projects that may not fit traditional gallery systems, including experimental venues, public art, performances, publications, online/virtual works, residencies, and film festivals. Applicants must live and work in New Mexico and possess a social security number. Projects must be public-facing and primarily visual art-focused. Ineligible applicants include students currently enrolled during the grant cycle, 501(c)(3) organizations, commercial businesses, and artists rooted in dance, theatre, music, or industry filmmaking. Virtual and in-person info sessions are offered in November and December 2025. Applications open on October 15, 2025, and close on December 31, 2025.
