About the Open Call

Sightlines Projects invites artists to submit experimental short films reflecting their views on today's world. In a climate of 24-hour news and digital rhetoric, the project seeks works that use alternative languages to express thoughts and feelings where words might fail. Selected films will be part of a curated screening for Fringe Arts Bath 2026.

What is Offered

Inclusion in a curated film screening during the Fringe Arts Bath Festival 2026.

Requirements

Films must be in MP4 format and under 10 minutes long. Open to artists of all ages and locations. Selected artists are asked for a £25 contribution and to donate some time to the volunteer-run festival.

Email inexpressible@fringeartsbath.co.uk with the project name in the title. Include a maximum 200-word statement about the work, images or video links, and any other relevant links.
