Fringe Arts Bath
Fringe Arts Bath (FaB) aims to raise the profile of contemporary visual arts by providing a platform for early-career and emerging Curators and Artists. The 2026 Festival includes a wide array of themed exhibitions such as 'The Stitch That Bit Back' (textiles), 'The Absurd' (mixed-media), 'Pride was a Riot!' (LGBTQ+ narrative), and 'Permission to Touch' (sensory engagement), as well as the 20th Photomarathon and a live events program for performance and time-based work.
A platform for development, exhibition opportunities in a contemporary arts festival, and a space to test new ideas outside of traditional gallery settings.
Open to all artists from anywhere in the world, with any level of experience. Specific exhibitions have individual media requirements; generally, applications require a short project description and supporting visual or audio-visual materials.
Visit the specific project pages on the FaB website for detailed application instructions for each exhibition. For live events (workshops, dance, performance) and artist collectives, email a proposal of max 200 words plus supporting media to submissions@fringeartsbath.co.uk.
