About the Open Call

Belger Arts is seeking a team of nine glass artists (three gaffers and six assistants) to collaborate on the fabrication, transportation, assembly, and installation of a custom-designed blown glass fountain. The project is inspired by Kansas City's distinction as the 'City of Fountains' and will be installed at Powell Gardens. Selected artists will work at the Belger Glass Annex and have the opportunity to participate in public glassblowing demonstrations.

What is Offered

Shared living accommodations, three daily meals, a stipend ($800 for gaffers, $400 for assistants), and opportunities for public glassblowing demonstrations.

Requirements

Early to established glass artists based in the United States.
