About the Open Call

Art Studio Hamptons Gallery invites artists to submit work for Forward Momentum (interpreted broadly as Forward Motion), an open exhibition exploring movement, growth, and evolving creative practice. The exhibition is intentionally open-ended with no thematic or stylistic restrictions, encouraging exploration through material, process, subject, or idea. All styles and media are welcome, including digital art, photography, painting, and small sculpture. Accepted artists will have their work exhibited in the gallery and the opportunity to upload additional works to the gallery's online portfolio database.

What is Offered

In-person exhibition from January 24 – February 22, 2026, and inclusion of up to 10 additional approved artworks in the Gallery's online portfolio database for client review and future show selection.

Requirements

Open to all national and international artists. Accepted mediums include oils, watercolor, acrylic, pastel, digital art, photography, small sculpture, and mixed media. No AI-generated artwork allowed. Artwork must be original, ready for hanging, and professionally framed with wire. Shipped works must use Air Float boxes. Entry fee is $30 for the first work and $10 for each additional work, up to 5 works maximum. Gallery takes a 50/50 split on all sales; work must be for sale.

How to Apply

Apply online through the ShowSubmit portal at https://showsubmit.com/show/ashg-forward-momentum. Create an account, upload high-quality JPEG images (at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge), and pay the entry fee via credit or debit card.
