About the Open Call

Professional artists working in all mediums, including sculpture, installation, and video, are invited to apply for inclusion in fooLPRoof Art Gallery. The gallery operates on a communal membership model where accepted artists pay a monthly fee of $60 (for a minimum 6-month term) to have 5-10 works on hand for retail exposure. The gallery features physical displays with rotating digital imagery, participation in Artsy for online sales, and professional PR and marketing support. Artist commissions are set at 80% (or 90% if the artist refers the client).

What is Offered

Six-month gallery inclusion, retail exposure, online exhibition via Artsy, PR and marketing materials, and high sales commissions (80-90%).

Requirements

Applicants must be professional artists with a forward-facing persona. Submissions must include a CV and specific bio requirements. Selected works must meet size and weight limits (e.g., wall sculpture max 100 lbs; free-standing max 200-600 lbs). Giclées are not accepted.
