What’s Offered: $500 food stipend + $500 materials stipend Free painting surfaces (canvases, paper, panels) Private live-in guest house accommodation in Atwater Village, Los Angeles Studio visits with a network of artists, curators, gallerists, advisors & collectors (the Flower Petals) End-of-residency open studio and public show Invitation to LA gallery openings with David Maxwell Optional bronze project opportunity Interview for Art Alerts (Instagram/YouTube/TikTok) Residency Dates 2026: Residency 7 – May 3–Jun 9 Residency 8 – Jul 12–Aug 18 Residency 9 – Sep 27–Nov 3 (Dates subject to change) Eligibility: Open to artists 18+ International applicants encouraged Painting practice required (surface provided) Clay/ceramics not permitted; other sculpture reviewed case-by-case

Requirements

Complete a minimum of 5 paintings Donate one 18″ × 24″ painting (counts toward 5) Create & donate an 8.5″ × 11″ portrait of David Maxwell Attend scheduled studio visits Participate in final open studio/show
