About the Open Call

The Flower City Arts Center offers residency programs designed to help visual artists build their portfolios and engage with a nurturing studio community. Residents receive unlimited access to their primary discipline area and a center membership. Responsibilities include 5 hours of community service per week through teaching or studio assistance, culminating in a public presentation of their work.

What is Offered

No application fee, Flower City Arts Center Membership, and unlimited access to the program area of the resident's primary discipline.

Requirements

Artists must engage with the studio community for at least 5 hours per week (teaching, open studio time, or production assistance) and perform a public presentation of work created during the residency.
