Field Projects
Field Projects and Mother-In-Law’s Gallery present an outdoor sculpture exhibition centered on the theme of 'curtilage'—the space around our homes where we negotiate with Nature through planting, pruning, and governing, while Nature seeks to rewild. Selected artists will exhibit their work on 15 acres of grounds from June to September 2026, with an opening during Upstate Art Weekend. Previous exhibitions in this series have received press coverage from The New York Times, Art News, and Hyperallergic.
Inclusion in a curated outdoor exhibition, 60% commission on artwork sales, and potential media coverage.
Open to artists working in all mediums and sizes. US-based and international artists are eligible. Proposals may be for existing works or new projects.
Apply via the Field Projects Submittable page. Applicants must create a free account and upload a Sculpture Proposal (for new or existing work) along with up to 5 supporting images.
