Escuela Cooperativa Taller Imagen
FECIMU (Festival Internacional de Cine y Multimedia) is a point of convergence between cinema and multimedia art, seeking dialogue between disciplines to expand the limits of audiovisual narrative. The 2026 edition includes competition categories for Argentine and International short films (Fiction, Documentary, Experimental, Animation, and AI). Additionally, there is a specific open call for Video Art works to be featured in a digital showcase. The festival aims to connect new artistic languages with modern forms of production and exhibition.
Selected works will be part of a physical exhibition and will also be available for free on the Taller Imagen digital platform during the 5 days of the festival.
For short films: Categories include Fiction, Documentary, Experimental, Animation, and AI (both national and international). For Video Art: Submissions must be digital, with no limit on duration or format; however, works created with AI are excluded from the Multimedia call as they have their own specific category in the film competition.
Short film submissions are accepted through the FilmFreeway and Festhome platforms. Video Art works must be submitted via the specific Google Form provided on the festival website, with digital copies sent through Google Drive or WeTransfer.
