About the Open Call

Farm Studio International Artist Residency is located in a rural community in India. Residents stay and create in a quiet art centre and beautiful environment where they can develop their artwork free from accustomed distractions. Farm Studio residency provides three types of working spaces: the indoor studios, the outdoor desert and farm environments, and Andore Village. The program fosters intercultural exchange through scheduled artist talks, presentations, works in progress showings, and final exhibitions.

What is Offered

Accommodation (private hut or room), vegetarian meals, chai, studio spaces, exhibition opportunity, invitation letter, local sightseeing, basic tools, and work tables.

Requirements

Artists of all disciplines (emerging and established), researchers, curators, and art critics are welcome. Artists are responsible for residency fees, personal art materials, travel costs, visa, and insurance. A non-refundable deposit is required if accepted.

How to Apply

Artists must apply via the online Jotform link available on the website. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and selection is based on motivation, work samples, and availability.
