About the Open Call

Yeiser Art Center is now accepting entries for the FANTASTIC FIBERS 2026 international juried exhibition. One of Yeiser Art Center’s most engaging and innovative international exhibitions, FANTASTIC FIBERS seeks to showcase a wide range of outstanding contemporary works related to the fiber medium. Contemporary and innovative works created with fiber as the primary medium or concept are welcome. The show includes a compelling mix of traditional and non-traditional works created from natural or synthetic fibers, and work that addresses the subject or medium of fiber.

What is Offered

$1,000 total prize money awarded: $500 for First Place, $300 for Second Place, and $200 for Third Place. Works are insured for 60% of retail value during the exhibition. Sales are encouraged with a 40% commission taken by the gallery.

Requirements

Open to international artists aged 18 and over working in the field of fiber art. Works must be original, completed in the last three years, and not previously exhibited in a Fantastic Fibers exhibition. Fiber must be the primary medium or concept.

How to Apply

Artists must submit their application and up to two work samples through the CaFÉ (Call for Entry) website. All entries must be submitted at the same time; additional entries cannot be added after checkout.
