Cuttyhunk Island Artists' Residency (CIAR)
A seven-day residency for visual artists featuring communal meals, dedicated studio time using the island as a workspace, and access to visiting professional artists. Residents are encouraged to work in portable mediums such as painting, drawing, collage, and photography. The program includes workshops, slide presentations, and an end-of-residency exhibition.
Includes accommodation at the Avalon Inn, all meals, visiting professional programming, and use of island facilities.
Open to visual artists in varying stages of their life and career; must be able to manage a portable studio practice.
