About the Open Call

The FAÍCC (Advanced Training in Choreographic Interpretation and Creation) is an immersive research and creation experience. Over 700 hours (from February 2 to July 31, 2026), participants engage with modules on composition, movement techniques, dramaturgy, cultural production, and video dance. The program includes a dedicated residency week with mentorship, public presentations at venues like Serralves and the Teatro Municipal do Porto, and opportunities for internships and professional networking within the Porto artistic ecosystem.

What is Offered

6-month intensive training, a residency week with mentorship, 6 to 8 public performances, access to studios until 11 PM, and potential professional internships.

Requirements

Experience in contemporary dance, circus, or performance; declaration of physical fitness required upon admission.
