European Media Art Platform (EMAP)
The EMAP residency programme invites artists working in digital, media, robotic, and bio art to apply for a two-month production residency in 2026. The program places a strong emphasis on collaboration, requiring applicants to apply as a duo or collective, or propose a project with a collaborator. The residency includes professional presentations and opportunities for exhibition tours.
Two-month residency, €4,000 artist grant, €2,000 collaborator grant (or €6,000 for duos), €4,000 project budget, accommodation, travel expenses, and access to technical facilities.
Must be EU residents or taxpayers (or from eligible non-EU countries). Undergraduate and Master’s students are not eligible; PhD candidates and emerging artists may apply. Applicants must propose collaborative projects.
Applicants must register an account on the official website (call.emare.eu) to access the online application form. Applications are stored in the 'My submissions' section and can be edited until the deadline.
