About the Open Call

The Ephemere Photobook Grant prioritizes projects with visceral resonance over technical perfection. The initiative aims to find a singular vision and collaborate with the artist to transform a physical book dummy into a finalized, eco-conscious monograph in Tokyo, Japan. The grant includes round-trip airfare to Tokyo for the official Book Launch during the Ephemere Photo Fest. Runners-up will have their dummies exhibited at the festival.

What is Offered

100% production coverage for a monograph, round-trip airfare to Tokyo for the book launch, global distribution, and 10% of the print run as artist copies.

Requirements

Photographers of all ages, nationalities, and genres are eligible. A physical book dummy (rough draft, tape-bound, or print-on-demand) is mandatory. Physical dummies will not be returned.
