About the Open Call

ArtWorks Together is inviting submissions for its 2026 international exhibition at the Millennium Gallery. The call is open to adult artists (16+) with a learning disability under the UK's NHS definition, and/or who are on the autism spectrum. Individuals experiencing other forms of neurodivergence or learning difficulties alone are not eligible. Artwork in all media is accepted, including drawing, painting, print, calligraphy, embroidery, sculpture, film, photography, and digital art. Each artist can submit one piece; groups or collectives can submit up to five. Submissions must be original works made in the last 12 months, free from copyright issues. Sustainable materials and processes are encouraged. Film submissions must be under 5 minutes. Selected works will be used for official promotional purposes.

What is Offered

Opportunity to exhibit artwork in an international exhibition at the Millennium Gallery from January to May 2026.

Requirements

Open to adult artists (16+) who have a learning disability under the UK's NHS definition of the condition, and/or who are on the autism spectrum only. Individuals who experience other forms of neurodivergence or learning difficulties alone are not eligible. Each artist is eligible to submit only ONE piece of artwork. Groups or collectives can enter up to 5 pieces of artwork. Image files must be TIFF/high resolution PNG. Film submissions must be under 5 minutes in length (not including credits) and sent as a link. The submitter must own all rights to their work, and works must not contain material bound by copyright law for non-use.

How to Apply

Applicants must first understand the Submission Guidelines and Terms and Conditions. Create or choose an artwork made in the last 12 months, considering sustainable materials. Photograph the artwork. Complete the online submission form via the 'Start Your Application' link: https://form.jotform.com/252035117549051. Ensure the form is submitted. Image files should be TIFF/high resolution PNG. Film/video submissions must be under 5 minutes and sent as a link.
