Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center (EHHM) is pleased to announce the 2026 Annual JURIED Exhibition, "55 x 2". This competitive exhibition is open for works currently being made by established and emerging artists, 18 years or older. This Call for Entries is open to EHHM Artist Members and to Non-Member Artists. Eligible artwork must have been completed after January 1, 2023, never previously exhibited at the EHHM, and fall within the stated guidelines. This show marks the 55th anniversary of the ‘Hopper House’ being established as a nonprofit arts organization, with each of the two sections showcasing works by 55 artists. The exhibition will run from February 20-April 26, 2026, with Part 1: February 20-March 22, 2026 and Part 2: March 27-April 26, 2026. EHHM, 82 N. Broadway, Nyack, NY, is located in the family home of iconic American artist Edward Hopper (1882-1967) and fuels the creative legacy through changing exhibitions, education programs, and community outreach. The juror for this exhibition is Indira A. Abiskaroon Valbuena, Curatorial Assistant of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Brooklyn Museum. The juror will review submitted works and select the final pieces for each part of the show, with each selected artist represented by one juried-in piece. Museum hours during the exhibition are Wednesday-Friday, 1-5 pm; Saturday-Sunday, 12-5 pm.
Opportunity to exhibit in a juried exhibition at the Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center. Total prize money of $1,000 for First, Second, and Third place awards ($500, $300, $200 respectively). Additional Juror’s Award and Visitor’s Choice Award, each consisting of an upgraded 1-year artist membership to Friends of the Museum ($150 value). Accepted artists will receive five complimentary admission tickets to the museum.
Artists must be 18 years or older. Eligible artwork must have been completed after January 1, 2023, and never previously exhibited at the Edward Hopper House Museum. Artwork must fall within stated guidelines (refer to Terms and Conditions for full details).
