Ecotones: Water & Thresholds of Change invites artists working in all media to explore marginal spaces where water and transformation meet. The exhibition focuses on threshold moments—times of transition, uncertainty, and becoming—where ideas, systems, and environments intersect. Artists are encouraged to explore ecological, cultural, and metaphorical possibilities of water as a mirror, memory, pulse, or force of change. 2D work must be under 96x48 inches and ready to hang. 3D work must be under 36x18x18 inches.
Cash awards for Best of Show ($250) and three Honorable Mentions ($50 each). Scholarship opportunities available for entry fees for emerging artists.
Artists may submit up to 3 artworks. Requires an artist statement (max 250 words) specific to the exhibition. Image requirements: 1200px longest side, under 5MB, JPG/JPEG format, 300 DPI recommended. Video/Audio: MP4 files. Specific hanging hardware required for 2D work.
