About the Open Call

Submit your application for the call for artists launched by Opale Art. The call for artists is open to all. Whether you’re an established artist or an emerging creator, whether you work in painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, collage, installation, or any other form of contemporary art, this call for entries is for you. We aim to pay tribute to David Lynch and the universe he has created. The call is not limited to representations of Lynch or his characters but is also open to artists whose aesthetic or recurring themes resonate with his work. Each artist must include a short text with their application explaining why they chose the artwork they are submitting to the selection committee.

What is Offered

Finalists will be featured on the Opale Art website and promoted on social media channels. The winner will be interviewed in Opale Art Magazine Contemporain, published on the website, and receive a rare copy of the book 'Lithos. 2007–2009' (192 pages of David Lynch’s lithographs). Opale Art will also publish a catalogue of the exhibition.

Requirements

Each artist must include a short text with their application explaining why they chose the artwork they are submitting to the selection committee. Submissions may be made in French or English.
