About the Open Call

East Call focuses on the status and practice of artists, contemporary curatorial conditions, and institutional situations in the Central Eastern European region. The program intends to introduce participants to current mechanisms of curating in relation to exhibitions, institutions, and cultural political discourse through studio visits, workshops, and case studies.

What is Offered

Use of office facilities, participation in workshops, guest lectures, museum entry fees, public transport in Budapest, and regional transport to provincial venues and Bratislava.

Requirements

The program is designed for emerging curators and curators-to-be still involved in their studies who expect to work in the field of contemporary art.
