Drawing Centre Diepenheim & Institut français NL
The residency at Drawing Centre Diepenheim provides a space for visual artists to develop projects centered on drawing, research, and experimentation. Located in rural Twente, the center connects artists with the local community through workshops and public presentations. The residency specifically supports projects dealing with themes like ecology, folklore, local crafts, and landscape. Participants receive a 45m2 studio, a private apartment, and artistic guidance, culminating in participation in a drawing festival at the end of the stay.
A three-month work period (April 1 to June 30, 2026), 45m2 individual studio, private apartment, artistic and technical guidance, professional visits from two culture professionals, and financial support from Institut français NL.
Visual artist with a project exploring drawing; working language is English; residency is not wheelchair accessible; artists must be able to work autonomously; project must demonstrate importance of being developed in the Netherlands.
