About the Open Call

The 24th DongGang International Photo Festival will be held from July 1st to October 11th, 2026, at the DongGang Museum of Photography and the surrounding Yeongwol area.The 2026 edition of the festival is themed “The Silence that Shapes”, which explores how meaning is constructed through perception, memory, and the human relationship with nature. Selected works will be exhibited as part of the DongGang International Photo Festival, running in South Korea during the summer and fall of 2026. The program emphasizes photography as a reflective and critical medium, encouraging artists to engage with ideas of landscape, interpretation, and the limits of human-centered understanding.
