About the Open Call

ART 64 is a live head-to-head, bracket-style painting tournament taking place over two days in the streets of Wauwatosa. 64 artists are selected to paint live in rounds with increasing time limits: 60 minutes for round 1, 75 minutes for round 2, and 90 minutes for the final round. Spectators both in-person and virtually vote for their favorites to advance. All paintings created during the event will be available for sale.

What is Offered

Grand prize of $20,000, additional artist incentives throughout the competition, and the opportunity to sell paintings produced during the event.

Requirements

Artists must be able to paint live during the designated tournament times on June 5 and 6, 2026. Artists choose their own themes/subjects for each round.
