Der Greif
Sisterhood in Practice is an open call conceived as a space of solidarity, exchange, and collective growth in contemporary photography. Launching on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2026, this call invites FLINTA artists to share photographic works that engage with womanhood broadly understood: as lived experience, political position, relational practice, and evolving identity. Selected works will be presented in an ephemeral online exhibition on Der Greif’s homepage for one month. At the core of this initiative is Der Greif’s commitment to education and peer learning through small-group online critique sessions.
Selected artists receive a one-month online exhibition on the Der Greif homepage, participation in an intimate online roundtable critique session facilitated by staff, and international visibility. Two artists will receive a permanent feature on the website.
Open to FLINTA individuals (Women, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans, Agender). Emerging and mid-career artists are encouraged to apply. Submissions must be photographic works relevant to the theme of womanhood.
Submit via the Picter application platform. If unable to contribute the suggested voluntary donation, applicants can email voucher-guestroom@dergreif.org for a discount code.
