Demuth Museum
The Demuth Artist Residency program supports an artist focused on drawing and/or painting to create a new body of work that is rooted in the collection and artistic community. The residency provides a private 3rd-floor studio, access to the museum's collection, an honorarium, housing reimbursement, and a supply stipend. Artists are expected to engage in a public lecture and an open studio event at the conclusion of their residency.
Private studio space, housing reimbursement up to $3,300, $1,500 honorarium, $200 supply gift card, and potential for artwork purchase by the museum.
Letter of intent, resume/CV, two professional references, and 14-20 high quality images of completed works. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
