About the Open Call

DVAA's Visual Arts program includes solo, two-person, group, and curated exhibitions. The exhibition program features high-quality work by emerging and professional artists with an emphasis on those who live and work full or part-time in the Mid-Hudson, Catskill, or Upper Delaware River Regions. All media and styles are welcome as are installations and proposals by curators. DVAA hosts over a dozen exhibitions annually across two galleries: the Alliance Gallery and the Loft Gallery.

What is Offered

Selected artists will be featured in the 2027 exhibition schedule, with professional gallery space and support from DVAA.

Requirements

Applicants should be emerging or professional artists, preferably from the Mid-Hudson, Catskill, or Upper Delaware River Regions, or the NY/Philly Metro area. Previous solo exhibitors must wait five years before reapplying. Submissions must include consistent, high-quality images of artwork for a blind-jurying process.
