Indy Arts Council
The Indy Arts Council, with support from Christel DeHaan, offers this award to allow visual artists to explore, take risks, and push their creative practice. The program is open to Indiana-based artists with at least five years of professional experience. Selected artists receive a $10,000 grant and the opportunity to showcase their final projects at Gallery 924. Applications are reviewed in two rounds annually.

Must work in visual arts (drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, textiles, or digital media); must have lived or worked in Indiana for at least three consecutive years; must have five years of documented experience creating contemporary art; must have generated consistent income over the past five years through work in visual art.
Review the application guidelines on the Indy Arts Council website and apply online through the Indy Arts Council grant platform. Standard applications are written, but alternate formats such as video or dictated responses are available upon request.
