De Anderen: Become part of a living installation in the streets of Rotterdam

About the Open Call

For the new edition of De Anderen, we are looking for participants to join choreographer Maciej Kuźmiński in creating a unique, living installation in the city. This project is much more than art; it is an artistic and social inquiry into how we perceive one another in our society. Like a human sculpture, a group of people will temporarily settle into the rhythm of the city, challenging passersby through their silent presence. Whether you have years of performance experience or have never stepped onto a stage before: you are more than welcome. In this project, every background and every body is an essential part of the story.

What is Offered

Participants will receive special training led by Maciej Kuźmiński on his movement language and methodology and participate in public city interventions.

Requirements

Curiosity about the power of presence, interest in social themes such as connection, loneliness, and social patterns. Open to all backgrounds and levels of experience.
