About the Open Call

The Dance Workforce Resilience (DWR) Fund supports individual freelance dancers through one-time $1,000 grants. Awards are determined through a weighted lottery system that prioritizes the most underpaid and unprotected groups of dance workers. It will distribute $324,000 to 320+ awardees for contracted dance work that includes a public performance or presentation taking place within the NYC metropolitan area, completed between January 1, 2025 to April 30, 2026.
