Kɔlchɔ de muv Salone/ Culture Moves Salone is an EU-funded programme supporting the development of Sierra Leone’s cultural and creative sectors. The Mobility Call for Proposals aims to strengthen professional skills, networks and market access through structured mobility and learning opportunities. The program focuses on decentralisation beyond Freetown, youth and women empowerment, and partnerships across Africa. Supported activities include artistic research, residencies, co-productions, exhibitions, performances, masterclasses, and participation in festivals or conferences.
Grants up to 50,000 SLE (approx. 2000 EUR) for national mobility (Fund 1) and up to 95,000 SLE (approx. 3,500 EUR) for mobility across Africa (Fund 2). A second-stage Fund 3 offers up to 285,000 SLE.
Applicants must be cultural or creative professionals (artists, producers, curators, etc.) based in Sierra Leone, aged 18 or older, and able to provide proof of residence. Eligible entities include individuals, NGOs, hubs, collectives, public institutions, and registered creative businesses.
Applicants must download the call documents for either Fund 1 (National mobility) or Fund 2 (African mobility) from the KEA website and follow the submission guidelines provided in the PDF files.
