A New Direction and the UCL Centre for Educational Leadership
The Cultural Education Leadership Programme is designed for educators ready to lead change in how arts, culture, and creativity are embedded across their school. Participants receive expert training from the UCL Centre for Educational Leadership, join a cohort of peers, and gain access to cultural visits and resources. Schools receive up to £2,000 for teacher absence coverage.
Up to £2,000 to cover teacher absence, professional development, and leadership certification.
Applicants must be London-based teachers in state mainstream or SEND primary settings who have completed their Early Career Teacher (ECT) programme. A signed Headteacher Commitment Form is required.
