CSU Spur
CSU Spur invites artists of all backgrounds and experience levels to submit artworks for a juried exhibition celebrating the intersection of community, sustainability and innovation. We seek compelling works that explore ideas of environmental stewardship, scientific curiosity and the power of local storytelling through art. The theme for this year’s exhibition is “What Does Water Mean to You?” Artworks should focus on the many ways water shapes our lives.
Inclusion in a juried exhibition at the CSU Spur campus, promotional materials, and a potential opening reception featuring artist talks.
Works must be original and created within the past five years. Artworks must be ready to be hung on a wall with framed works requiring security hardware. Artists must drop off and pick up artwork in person at the Denver campus. Artworks will be displayed in a public space where they may be left unattended.
Artists must submit through the CaFÉ platform. Required materials include high-quality images (up to 9 images total for up to 3 artworks), artwork details (title, medium, dimensions, year), an artist statement (max 250 words), artist bio (max 150 words), contact information, and a resume/CV.
